Electrical Retailer TJ Butlers Benefits From Replan’s Innovative Shop Design
TJ Butlers electrical retailers near Deeside are the latest business to benefit from Replan’s innovative shop design and refit programme.
Offering a one-stop solution to store design across a range of retailers, Replan’s ability to innovate, solve problems and ultimately deliver an inspiring retail space has made a tangible difference to TJ Butlers who contracted Replan to design and fit their new flagship store.
“We recently expanded and added a second store to offer our customers something new and innovative and help us to keep up with demand,” said owner Warren Butler.
“We were just not able to do much with our original store due to restrictions on the size, we didn’t feel that relocating would be the best option as we have been known for many years here and have built up significant trust and goodwill in the local community.
“Opening a new store was a big step, so choosing who to design and fit it was a very important decision. We knew what we wanted and invited quotes and designs from a number of different companies. Ultimately, Replan was the best interpretation of our vision.
“The service from them has been second to none. From start to finish they were extremely professional and any problem we encountered they solved quickly.
“The results speak for themselves,” he added. “The customer reaction has been very positive both to the overall experience and the products we have been able to add to our range.”
“Replan understood that family was close to our heart, and with this in mind it was decided that including visual reference to our heritage in store was important to us.”
Aaron Eaton, Managing Director (GB), Replan, added: “As technology progresses, so can the Retail experience. The size of the store at Butlers meant that having a traditional counter was not necessarily the best option, after speaking with Warren it was decided that the best option would be to take wireless payments in store, whilst having a section at the back where customers can sit and discuss their needs. This means that orders can be placed anywhere in the store and prices can be compared online with the stores built in Wi-Fi.
“Warren was very keen on pushing the integrated sector of white goods, these items are seeing an increase in purchases, with a lot of houses opting towards ‘built in’ white goods rather than freestanding units.”
“We also wanted to remind customers of where they are, so the whole time the customers are in the store, it was very important for us to have the Butlers’ brand visible and attractive.”
As well the ability to execute Butler’s vision, Aaron Eaton emphasised the important of relationships and shared goals.
“Butler’s is family owned and has been passed on through generations,” he said. “Replan is also a family run business and it is the next generation of Replan staff that are providing the designs. We wanted to convey the family values in the store and use this message to make the customers feel at home with a trustworthy brand.”
